HISTORY
It was a dream of Ma'am Melanie Hilado, the guidance teacher of Rodolfo A. Medel Sr. Elementary School; a pastor's wife and a mother of two children, that when she retires, she would put up a pre-school for her to continue her teaching profession. But it was not so, because when a DepEd memo was released sometime in January or February of 2010 that the public schools would no longer be permitted to operate classes on Nursery and Kinder levels, an idea of putting up a pre-school instantly flashed back in her mind. She asked herself, "Where shall these poor little kids go to acquire education and how?"
Ma'am Hilado started to think and plan the possibilities to start as early as June of 2010 by looking up for a space to rent and by facilitating all the requirements set by the city government and the DepEd itself. Summertime of 2010 was so busy for the Hilado Family to be ready for the opening of classes. By God's grace, they have found a space to rent, and were able to comply all the requirements and had started regular classes in June with 72 enrollees for the first year of operation.
Little Crafters Learning Center is a family's ministry, providing a quality education for the students as Christ is the head of this Institution.
With the committed teachers and staff, supportive and prayerful family members, and above all, the Almighty God, fulfilling this mission is possible.
To God be the glory!
